Saturday Mosaic Workshops (SMW)
Open to new and returning students
This is an all-day (10 am to 4 pm) introduction to the basic techniques of creating mosaic art.  Materials, instruction, continental breakfast, and lunch are included in the cost.*  Mosaic Workshops offer a choice of projects, and students usually need to return during an Open Studio to finish their project. 
Cost: $15 deposit to reserve a seat.  Remainder of workshop fee is payable the day of the workshop at The Mosaic Gardens (Venmo, Zelle, cash or check).
 Please consider registering now for an Open Studio scheduled soon after your workshop.  Open Studios are 1 pm - 4 pm on most Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a Saturday or Sunday most weekends.

"Glass on Glass":  This technique uses translucent stained or colored glass arranged onto a clear glass sheet, adhered with clear adhesive, so that light can shine through.  This achieves a similar effect as a true leaded stained glass work, but doesn't need any leading, copper foil or soldering. Any clear glass not covered by colored glass can be filled in with grout, or left clear.  This simpler method is more flexible and allows more spontaneity and creativity.

Cancellation policy: your deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 2 days prior to the workshop date, or your workshop deposit can be moved to another date.  In the rare case that enrollment for a workshop is less than the minimum needed, the workshop would be canceled, and another workshop date can be chosen, or the Mosaic Gardens will refund the deposit in the same manner that it was initially received.
